Runoff Polling Places Not Same as PrimaryRemember that runoff elections for positions on the Democratic and Republican tickets take place today, Tuesday, April 13. Because many fewer Texans are expected to vote today than in last month's primaries, there are many fewer polling locations operating. Chances are that you will not vote in the same location as last month. To find your polling location, you can check my web site at scotthochberg.com. Runoff elections are held for every position where no candidate received at least 50% of the vote in the primary.
If you did not vote in a primary, you can vote in either party's runoff. Regardless of whether you vote in a primary or runoff, or which party's you vote in, you can vote for any party's candidates in the fall general election, or in any primaries or runoffs in future years.
As always, let me know if you need further help.
